With a playoff win on the line, Brownstown Central rose to the challenge  on Saturday. They blew past the Heritage Hills Patriots 3-0. The  victory was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on five straight.
 It was another big night for  Sophie Wischmeier, who  had 24  kills and 13  digs. Those  24  kills gave  her a new career-high.  Finley Wheeler was another key player,  getting five  digs and one  block.
Brownstown Central's win bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Heritage Hills, they moved to 21-13 with that  loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.
 Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Brownstown Central and Roncalli will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  on Saturday. Heritage Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
