William Harmon Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Sussex Central's William Harmon, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harmon made ten total tackles and defended a pass. He didn't just play on offense: he also made ten total tackles and defended a pass.
Sussex Central's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Harmon will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against St. Georges Tech on Saturday.

Kahmaj Kearney Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Smyrna got the W thanks in part to Kahmaj Kearney playing the best football he has all season. Kearney rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Caesar Rodney's probably not too fond of Kearney given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Kearney saw the Riders), he rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 66 receiving yards.

Bell Posts Huge Game in 41-27 Victory
The second Sussex Central player making an appearance here is Malik Bell, and for good reason. He rushed for 167 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.
This season, Bell has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 181.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Sam Pucci Turns in Another Game with at Least Five Total Tackles
On Friday, Sussex Central got the W thanks in part to Sam Pucci playing the best football he has all season. Pucci wasn't messing around, picking up a sack and making 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss). The contest was his fourth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
This season, Pucci has averaged 7.8 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.17 total tackles per game.

Phoenix Henriquez Makes It Two for Smyrna
Another Smyrna player making an appearance on this list is Phoenix Henriquez. He picked up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 64 yards.
On the year, Henriquez has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 88.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
