The Northfield Norsemen extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Southern Wells Raiders. They strolled past the Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 41-22. Winning may never get old, but Northfield sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Northfield's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elli Baker led the charge by scoring 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Holmes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Northfield's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Southern Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
Northfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Southern Wells also has no future games currently scheduled.
