The Saint Andrew's Scots stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past David Posnack Jewish Day, posting a 48-19 win at home. Winning may never get old, but Saint Andrew's sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Saint Andrew's was led to victory by Emma Smith and Delaney Beighley. Smith scored 13 points along with nine steals, while Beighley scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Beighley has scored at least a third of Saint Andrew's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savanna Smith, who scored four points along with three steals.
Saint Andrew's is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Saint Andrew's will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Scheck Hillel Community School at 5:30 p.m.
