The Bethel-Tate Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Clermont Northeastern Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Bethel-Tate turned things around against Georgetown on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the G-Men. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since May 9, 2024.

Carter Moss made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Moss wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Evans, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That's the most hits Evans has posted since back in March. Another was Simon Houser, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Clermont Northeastern ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Felicity-Franklin.
Like Bethel-Tate, Clermont Northeastern also got a great game from a two-way player: Grant Carlier. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Carlier was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Clermont Northeastern is undefeated when Carlier posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise.
Clermont Northeastern's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Bethel-Tate, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-10.
Bethel-Tate couldn't quite finish off Clermont Northeastern in their previous meeting back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
