Softball Recap: Northeast Dubois Wins Going Away Against Shoals

Northeast Dubois came out on top against Shoals on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Jeeps were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Jug Rox. The result was nothing new for the Jeeps, who have now won four matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

The victory snapped Northeast Dubois' losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-4 record. As for Shoals, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Northeast Dubois will square off against South Spencer at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Shoals, they will challenge North Daviess at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Jug Rox's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
