Summit is 6-1 against Carter since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The two teams, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:45 p.m. Carter took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Summit, who comes in off a win.
Summit took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. Everything went their way against Arroyo Valley as they made off with a 20-0 win. The SkyHawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sydney Clements made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Arianna Munoz was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Garcia, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
Summit hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Carter lost 10-4 to Aquinas last Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.
Carter now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Summit, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-10 record.
Summit was able to grind out a solid win over Carter in their previous meeting back in May of 2025, winning 7-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the SkyHawks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
