The Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars lost against the Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Fort Zumwalt West falling 68-52. They have not had much luck with Fort Zumwalt South recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mark Hampton, who scored seven points along with five rebounds. Those five rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Maddoc Mclaughlin, who scored 12 points along with six assists.
Fort Zumwalt West has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Fort Zumwalt South, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Fort Zumwalt West will head out on the road to face off against Fort Zumwalt North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Fort Zumwalt North is ranked 290th, while Fort Zumwalt West is ranked 267th). Fort Zumwalt South will be home for the holidays to greet Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
