The Charter Oak Chargers can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They took down West Covina 67-49. The win was just what Charter Oak needed coming off of a 53-31 loss in their prior contest.
When it comes to explaining why West Covina lost, one person who can't be blamed is Steven Julio. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points. Julio is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight.
Charter Oak's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-16. As for West Covina, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
Charter Oak does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Covina also has no future games currently scheduled.
