Softball Recap: Seabreeze Wins Going Away Against Crescent City

Seabreeze's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Crescent City Raiders as they made off with a 22-12 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sandcrabs, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kyra McLin was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, five RBI, and three doubles. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caylee Little, who scored six runs while going 3-for-5.

Seabreeze always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .580. They are a perfect 10-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Seabreeze has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Crescent City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Seabreeze will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
