The Harriman Blue Devils will head out to face off against the Oakdale Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Harriman has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Harriman is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since March 2nd on Friday. They lost 13-1 to Roane County. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Harriman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Antonio Ibarra, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Ibarra is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Oakdale not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 3rd (when they won 16-5). Everything went their way against Clarkrange as they made off with a 14-3 win.
Liam Smith made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Oakdale is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Smith was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Logan Currier and Maddox Tilson did most of the damage at the plate: Currier got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Tilson got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave Tilson a new career-high. Canyon Hamby also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.
Oakdale was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Oakdale's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Harriman, they now also have a losing record of 4-5.
Harriman skirted past Oakdale 6-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
