The Elkmont Red Devils lost against the Ardmore Tigers on January 6th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Elkmont took a 44-25 bruising from Ardmore. Elkmont has not had much luck with Ardmore recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Elkmont's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brylee Boger, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Savannah Williams who scored two points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Elkmont's defeat dropped their record down to 11-14. As for Ardmore, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkmont will challenge Wilson at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ardmore, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clements on January 26th. Clements has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
