Spalding's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makayla Wright, who scored 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chayce Matthews, who scored 20 points.
Spalding is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Howard, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
