River Dell waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-51 W against the Westwood Cardinals. For the Golden Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 64-57 win the Cardinals walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

River Dell's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Westwood, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, River Dell will take on Teaneck in a tournament on Saturday. As for Westwood, they will face off against Mahwah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mahwah will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Westwood surely won't give up without a fight.
