The Upper St. Clair Panthers will hit the road for the first time this season to  take on  the Canon-McMillan Big Macs  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Upper St. Clair will be strutting in after a  victory while Canon-McMillan will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Upper St. Clair is headed out to face Canon-McMillan after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Upper St. Clair blew past Mt. Lebanon 42-22 on Friday. The  win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight dating back to last season.
 Upper St. Clair's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Dante Coury led the charge by rushing for 78 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown.  Ethan Hellmann was another key passer, rushing for 34 yards and a touchdown.
 Hellmann wasn't the only one working in the  rushing yards department: Upper St. Clair was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 239  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 151  rushing yards in six consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile, Canon-McMillan managed to keep up with Peters Township until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Canon-McMillan lost  42-17 to Peters Township.
 Although Canon-McMillan took the loss, they still got scores from  TJ Sabatucci and  Ty Jansma.
 Canon-McMillan wouldn't let Peters Township keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Canon-McMillan can thank  Daisean Lacks and  Logan Logsdon for forcing both of them.
 Upper St. Clair was able to grind out a solid  victory over Canon-McMillan when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, winning  24-17. Will Upper St. Clair repeat their success,  or does  Canon-McMillan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
