ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Hand Tigers at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Workhorses 55-0 at home. The result was nothing new for ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate], who have now won eight contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Rykeese Saunders continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 64 receiving yards. Saunders really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run. Another player making a difference was Jayvionne Hill, who gained 167 total yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Hand came tearing into Tuesday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 29-14 victory over St. Joseph.
Aidan Dolan was his usual excellent self, rushing for 258 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. Dolan hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for three straight games.
ATI [Abbott RVT/Immaculate] has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.6 points per game. As for Hand, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
