Lewistown won the last time they faced Farmington and things went their way on Monday too. The Lewistown Indians strolled past the Farmington Farmers with points to spare, taking the game 45-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Lewistown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Wiegand out in front who posted 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. What's more, Wiegand also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Carsyn Braun was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

Defeat or not, Farmington got some senior leadership from Molly Zaborac and Paige Stevens. Zaborac earned eight points, while Stevens put up seven points.

Lewistown's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Farmington, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-23.

Lewistown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-29 win against West Prairie on the 13th. As for Farmington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-28 loss against Illini Bluffs on the 12th.
