The Goldwater Bulldogs will square off against the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
After dropping their season opener at home, Desert Sunrise is headed out to face a Bulldogs  squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Goldwater came up short against  Deer Valley on Wednesday, falling  13-0. Sadly, the  defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.
 Goldwater saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Micaela De La Torre, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
Meanwhile, Desert Sunrise lost  19-2 to Combs on Wednesday.
  Atiana Fuller was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.  Emma Curtis was another,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases.
