They had to suffer through a rough 53-13 loss at the hands of McCormick. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-2.
McCormick's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Triston Brown, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Bell, who scored eight points along with three steals.
South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind bumped their record down to 0-5 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for McCormick, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will challenge Ware Shoals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. McCormick won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Thornwell at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Thornwell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
