In what's become a running theme this season, the Strasburg Indians gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They really took it to Frontier Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-47 victory on the road. The victory was nothing new for Strasburg as they're now sitting on seven straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Strasburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyce Bollers, who scored 24 points along with two steals. Bollers has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. Austin Velasco was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Frontier Academy still got an impressive performance from Jackson Steward, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 46.8% of Frontier Academy's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Strasburg pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.0 points per game. As for Frontier Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strasburg will challenge Brush at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brush will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Strasburg is ranked 38th). As for Frontier Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Highland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allowing an average of 53.4 points per game, Highland has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this contest.
