Columbia extended the longest winning streak in Cahokia this week by beating Nashville, 49-6. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Eagles.
Central and East Alton-Wood River played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Central eventually emerging with a 42-36 victory.
Central's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Rickhoff has thrown for 1856 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Jacob Timmerman has 56 catches for 898 yards. Cameron Voss leads the league in rushing with 659 yards.
Columbia took down the Hornets 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
