 Like Vision, Idaho City also got a great game from a two-way player:  Dax Olvera. He  struck out ten batters over  six innings while giving up  seven earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Olvera was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Olvera wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Tell Jewell, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Trey Martiny was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Vision is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record  this season. As for Idaho City, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record  this season.
 Vision will  face off against Troy at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Troy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9  runs per game  this season, so Vision's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
