The Hanahan Hawks will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Hanahan will be strutting in after a win while Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, everything went Hanahan's way against Charleston Math & Science as Hanahan made off with a 53-32 win.
Hanahan can attribute much of their success to Jaylah Hughes, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hughes has scored at least 25% of Hanahan's points. The team also got some help courtesy of N'khia Hagood, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics came up short against Burke on Tuesday and fell 63-50.
The losses dropped Hanahan to 2-2 and Charleston Math & Science to 0-3.
