Northfield had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Hinkley Thunder. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Nighthawks also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2024.
 Northfield never let Hinkley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8,  25-22.
 Jillian Fox paced Northfield's offense, picking up eight kills. Fox got some help from  Kandice Kountz and her nine assists. Kountz was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Hinkley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record  this season.
 Northfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  win against DSST: Conservatory Green on the 22nd. Hinkley has also already played their next  match (against George Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
