Meanwhile, Mission Vista had just enough and edged out San Dieguito Academy  3-2 on Thursday. The  win continues a trend for Mission Vista in their matchups with San Dieguito Academy: they've now won five in a row.
 Mission Vista took San Dieguito Academy into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 19-25, 25-15,  17-15.
 Mission Vista pushed their record up to 20-13 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Westview, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-18 record  this season.
