Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Williamsburg Academy Stallions, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They and Bethesda Academy were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but Williamsburg Academy suffered an agonizing 18-17 defeat. Williamsburg Academy's defeat signaled the end of their 24-game winning streak dating back to last season.
Although Williamsburg Academy took the loss, they still got scores from JD Sholar and Conrad Balder.
Williamsburg Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-1. As for Bethesda Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
