As the baseball season rolls into high gear, it's time to take a look at some of the top baseball talent in the state of Nebraska. And there is plenty of it in the Cornhusker State.
Of course, the talent starts at the top with Omaha Roncalli's Alec Bohm, who hit .526 a year ago. Fellow first-team all-Nebraska selectees that made the list of the Cornhusker State's top baseball players were Grant Suponchick (Papillion-LaVista South), Mike Waldron (Omaha Westside) and Michael Helman (Lincoln Pius X).
Much of the information gathered for this story was borrowed from the pages of the Omaha World Herald, the Lincoln Journal Star and of course MaxPreps' stat leader pages from the 2013-14 season.
