There's no place like home for the Sulphur Bluff Bears, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Saltillo by a score of 52-45 on Saturday. For Sulphur Bluff, this counts as revenge for the 53-31 loss Saltillo walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Perhaps the best among them was Clint Degen, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Degen hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Gunn, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Sulphur Bluff's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Saltillo, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sulphur Bluff will face off against Savoy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Savoy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1401st, while Sulphur Bluff is ranked 698th). Saltillo and Prairiland will face off at 6:15 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
