Chisholm made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Kingfisher, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Longhorns never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Thursday. For the Longhorns, this counts as revenge for the 10-2 victory the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Chisholm and bumps their season record up to 9-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Kingfisher, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Chisholm will take on Perkins-Tryon at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Demons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kingfisher, they will head out to challenge Guthrie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
