Softball Recap: Corona Wins Going Away Against Serrano

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norco, Corona was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Serrano Diamondbacks 13-3. Considering the Panthers have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Corona's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Serrano, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Looking ahead, Corona will venture away from home to square off against Arroyo Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Serrano, they will square off against Citrus Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Serrano's pitchers better be ready for this one: Citrus Valley has averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
