Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Evan Cross, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That was a full 50% of Hartsburg-Emden's points, marking the 15th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jace Whitted was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Greenview's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Arthur-Okaw Christian, falling 67-31. Greenview has struggled against Arthur-Okaw Christian recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Hartsburg-Emden dropped their record down to 5-19 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greenview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.
