Basketball Recap: Millbrook Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Millbrook entered their tilt with Webutuck on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Webutuck Warriors as they made off with a 58-34 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-32 two weeks ago.

Millbrook got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Collin Hay out in front who went 7 for 9 on his way to 14 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Alex Lacasse, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Millbrook smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Millbrook is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Webutuck, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Millbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-37 loss against Mount Academy on the 28th. Webutuck has also already played their next game, a 54-43 defeat against Pine Plains on the 28th.
