Notre Dame-Green Pond and the Warriors are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. Notre Dame-Green Pond knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully the Warriors like a good challenge.
Notre Dame-Green Pond put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. They breezed by Pen Argyl on the road to the tune of 70-38. Given Notre Dame-Green Pond's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Green Knights are ranked 626th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Wilson Area was able to grind out a solid win over the Green Knights on Monday, taking the game 50-38. The win was just what Wilson Area needed coming off of a 54-32 defeat in their prior game.
Notre Dame-Green Pond's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Wilson Area, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Everything came up roses for Notre Dame-Green Pond against the Warriors in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 64-19 win.
