Prague is 1-0 against Warner since October of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Prague Red Devils will be playing at home against the Warner Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Prague's favor as the team sits on nine straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Warner has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
Last Friday, everything went Prague's way against Sequoyah as Prague made off with a 47-21 win. The result was nothing new for Prague, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Warner's 8-3 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They fell just short of Keys by a score of 28-26.
Despite the defeat, Warner had strong showings from Austin Spradlin, who rushed for 45 yards and two touchdowns, and Logan Collins, who rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown. Spradlin is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last five games he's played. Another big playmaker for Warner was Reed Pickering, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Warner's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Ty Vinson and Lubbock Drake who racked up four sacks between them.
Prague's win lifted them to 7-0 while Warner's loss dropped them down to 2-5.
Prague was able to grind out a solid win over Warner when the teams last played back in October of 2022, winning 7-0. Does Prague have another victory up their sleeve, or will Warner turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
