Las Lomas and Washington played the closest game in Diablo Foothill this week, with Las Lomas eventually emerging with a 29-23 victory.
Acalanes took down Sonoma Valley 49-10 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Miramonte's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drew Anderson threw for 201 and 4 touchdowns and Dominic Paoletti had 63 yards receiving. On the ground Ray Clark chipped in 111 yards. Clark helped Miramonte's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 41 yards.
He was 14-28 with 1 interception.
Clark was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 111 yards on 12 carries as the Matadors topped Tennyson. Teammate McLain Lavis added to the ground attack by rushing for 65 yards.
Miramonte's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Matadors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Anderson has thrown for 2,922 yards and 33 touchdowns this season, while Paoletti has 57 catches for 1,086 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Campolindo takes on the Dons. At the moment, the Cougars are in first, while Acalanes is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Campolindo takes on Mike Ivankovich's team. Kevin Macy's team has allowed 185 points this season, while the Dons have given up 245.
