The Scott Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. The game between them and George Rogers Clark wasn't particularly close, with Scott falling 73-57. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Scott in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now lost five in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xarek Sarakatsannis, who scored 12 points. Connor Griffin was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Scott now has a losing record at 11-12. As for George Rogers Clark, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.
Scott will head out on the road to challenge the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for George Rogers Clark, they will be playing at home against the Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
