Oak Hills is 8-2 against Sycamore since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Highlanders will look to defend their home field against the Aviators at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Oak Hills 3.2, Sycamore 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
If Oak Hills beats Sycamore with nine runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Highlanders were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Princeton on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Highlanders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Oak Hills got a great performance from Brady Kornmann as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Oak Hills has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Sycamore struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Oak Hills got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Sycamore by a conclusive 8-1 score. Do the Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aviators turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
