The Ridgewood Generals lost against the Garaway Pirates back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Ridgewood suffered a tough 35-13 defeat at the hands of Garaway. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgewood in their matchups with Garaway: they've now lost four in a row.
Garaway was led to victory by Brady Geibel and Dillon Soehnlen. Geibel rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown, while Soehnlen gained 123 total yards and three touchdowns. Jenson Garber also helped out with an impressive 107 receiving yards.
Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Garaway, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Garaway, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rock Hill at 7:00 p.m. Rock Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 490th, while Garaway is ranked 73rd).
