Haddonfield was led to victory by Declan McCarthy and Kai Richards. McCarthy rushed for five yards and a touchdown, while Richards rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown. Richards was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Matt Zappetti also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
The victory makes it two in a row for Haddonfield and bumps their season record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37 points. As for Sterling, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Haddonfield will be playing in front of their home fans against Raritan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Raritan is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
