The Pitman Panthers will take on the Cinnaminson Pirates at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Pitman is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Penns Grove on Wednesday as they made off with a 20-5 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Kiernan Clark made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Pitman's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 2-9 when he doesn't). Clark was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carter Snyder, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Williams, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Pitman kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Cinnaminson never got on the board in their matchup on Wednesday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Florence Township Memorial on Friday. They blew past the Flashes 12-2. The Pirates not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 17-5).
Cinnaminson also got a great performance from Anthony Melchiorre as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Nolan Pacetti was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs. Chris Pignatelli was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Cinnaminson's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Pitman, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-10.
Pitman might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from Cinnaminson in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
