The Dunellen Destroyers won against East Brunswick Vo-Tech on Wednesday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Dunellen simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the 66-33 at home. That's two games straight that Dunellen has won by exactly 33 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunellen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Hutchins, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Hutchins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Jamael Davis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Dunellen's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunellen will take on the Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Piners at 5:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (Lakewood is ranked 404th, while the are ranked 420th).
