Mexico had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Fulton on Friday. The Bulldogs never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Drew DeMint and Jaydon Eldridge did most of the damage at the plate: DeMint went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Eldridge went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. DeMint is becoming a predictor of Mexico's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 8-11 when he doesn't). Chance McCarty was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Mexico, bringing their record up to 18-11. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Fulton, North Callaway, and Moberly. As for the Hornets, they moved to 17-5 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Mexico wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Moberly on the 9th. As for Fulton, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against North Callaway on the 9th.
