The St. Paul Cardinals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 64-41 loss at the hands of Bracken Christian. St. Paul has struggled against Bracken Christian recently, as their match on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Leading Bracken Christian to victory were Hunter Cox and Wyatt Parsons. Cox scored 25 points along with six steals, while Parsons dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Cox hasn't dropped below two steals for ten straight games. Another player making a difference was Chandler Prescott, who scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals.
St. Paul has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Bracken Christian, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Sacred Heart the next time they take the court. Bracken Christian will host Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while St. Paul will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
