The Manvel Mavericks will head out on the road to take on the Texas City Stingarees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Manvel pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-58 to Santa Fe. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Manvel came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while Santa Fe is ranked 777th).
Meanwhile, Texas City didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Santa Fe on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 35-29 win.
This is the second loss in a row for Manvel and nudges their season record down to 11-16. As for Texas City, they pushed their record up to 11-15 with that win, which was their third straight at home.

The rematch might be a little tougher for Manvel since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
