Last Friday, Brattleboro couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a serious blow against Rutland, falling 0-35.
Meanwhile, Colchester gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener. They managed a somewhat close 34-28 victory over Middlebury.
Colchester's win lifted them to 1-0 while Brattleboro's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Colchester can add another positive mark to their record or if Brattleboro can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Colchester's step.
