You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Golden on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Conifer Lobos out of the water with a 64-25 final score. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ashlyn Bates, who posted 12 points along with six boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ceci Moran, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points.

Golden was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Conifer only racked up five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Conifer lost, don't look at Izzy Ogdon. Despite the final result, she went 7 for 8 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 76% of Conifer's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Golden and bumps their season record up to 17-2. As for Conifer, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6.

Golden will venture away from home to face off against D'Evelyn at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (D'Evelyn: 29.1, Golden: 28.5) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Conifer, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Wheat Ridge at 6:30 p.m. Conifer is facing Wheat Ridge at the right time seeing as Wheat Ridge is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
