The Elko Indians are taking a road trip to  square off against the Reed Raiders  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.

 Ryan Vanek spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Reed saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Bailey Moss, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. The Raiders are 4-1 when  Moss posts two or  more  runs, but 5-8 otherwise.
 Elko's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Reed,  the  win  got them back to even at 9-9.
