Halls dropped their record down to 21-10 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Brighton Cardinals, falling 10-0. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Cardinals' pitchers proved too tough.

As for Brighton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games.

For Brighton's part, Garrett Glass was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Glass has become a key player for the Cardinals: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-9 otherwise. Kaiden Ingram was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Looking ahead, Halls will head out to face off against Tipton Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brighton, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Memphis Central at 4:30 p.m. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
