It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pace had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 15-6 win over the Crestview Bulldogs. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won eight contests in a row.
Amaya Pablo produced another solid effort throwing for 145 yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 51 yards on only six carries.
Pace didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Rylee Henley, Maci McGinnis, and Pablo picked up one apiece. Pablo got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Pace's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.
Pace wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 20-7 victory against Niceville on the 17th. Crestview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
