The Bravo Knights posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They skirted past Eagle Rock 68-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bravo got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Yamato Nguessan out in front who scored 20 points. Nguessan is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Manuel Macias, who scored 19 points.
Bravo's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points per game. As for Eagle Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bravo will square off against Wilson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wilson is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Eagle Rock, they will head out on the road to square off against Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
